This is another super easy water infusion to help maintain your hydration as summer revs up. If you drink a little of this first thing in the morning, the lemon will help you absorb nutrients during the day and even provide you with a little immune boost. Enjoy!
REFRESHING STRAWBERRY LEMON WATER INFUSION
- 1 cup strawberries, whole
- 1⁄2 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 lemon, sliced into wheels
- ice
- 1 1⁄2 quarts still water
Add fruit to the insert of a 2-quart infusion pitcher. Add desired amount of ice to pitcher, then fill with water. Allow to steep for at least 30 minutes, but preferably for 2 to 3 hours, before serving.
TIP: We like slicing citrus into wheels because it looks so pretty! But as long as it’s cut up to allow the juices and goodness to seep out of it, it doesn’t really matter how it’s cut.
