    Dr. Mariza,
Please bring on a expert to address POI/POF and early menopause, that picture isn’t so joyful because you are not ready for the next chapter even when your ovaries are saying goodnight. More and more women are falling into this catagory these days. While I have friends in their early 50s with a normal period, I lost my AMH (egg reserve) after doing an ovarian stem cell procedure at 41 to extent my fertility. It did quite the opposite! Menopause is quite difficult when it happens in one’s 30s or early 40s. Many women have not yet completed their family yet, and it’s a harsh slap in the face.

I’m sorry to hear about that. I recommend this episode I did with my good friend, Dr. Anna Cabeca, where we talked about her amazing journey after being diagnosed with premature ovarian failure. You will absolutely get inspiration from her story like the way I did. 🙂 Click here to listen to this episode.
